The Bourne Supremacy 2004

B+

I finally saw this on video. I like the first one, giving it a kind of harsh B for a movie I remembered liking pretty well. The second verse is pretty much same as the first. Once again there is some great cat and mouse, car chases, intrigue, and fights. We get a little more of a glimpse into what he was before his amnesia and that plays an important part in the plot as it develops. The cast is very good and the movie, shot in location in Moscow, Berlin, and India, is always fun to watch. The DVD extras show how they allowed the actors to do their own car stunts at full speed using a specially rigged car driven by a stuntman.

This is another well-executed, not particularly original, spy movie in the same vein as the first. I’m a little more lenient these days so I will give it a B+
