The Lookout 2007

B+

The Lookout is an interesting movie about a former high school sports star who is now brain damaged and trying to get by in a small town. It seems like a realistic look at someone dealing with a handicap like that and the character is played very well by Joseph Gordon-Levitt from the TV sitcom Third Rock. There is also a bank heist going on, the guy’s relationship with women, as well as his blind roommate. Learning about the characters holds your interest for the first part of the movie as all of the exposition is laid out and then the heist itself kicks in to keep the movie moving until the finish. This isn’t a great movie, but it is certainly worth watching. B+.
