The Ghost and Mrs. Muir 1947

A-

I feel like I had seen this movie before, but with a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, it seemed like a good buy, so I got a digital copy and watched it pretty quickly. It is a nice romance movie with the beautiful Gene Tierney playing a widow who is not intimidated by a ghost of a sea captain, played perfectly by Rex Harrison. The first half is better than the second, but it is still enjoyable. George Sanders makes an appearance as an earthly love interest. The voice of The Jungle Book's Shere Khan the tiger, it is fun just listening to him. Natalie Wood also appears as a child, the same age when she made Miracle on 34th Street. So it is a fine cast and a good story despite fizzling out in the end.
