Galapagos Islands - May 25 to June 1, 2002

This is about a trip I took to the Galapagos Islands on Lindblad Expedition's MS Polaris and organized by the Audubon Society. There is a page for each day of the trip. The text comes from a journal I wrote at the end of each day but isn't exactly great prose. Most of the pictures shown here can be clicked on for larger versions. Most land pictures were taken with a digital camera with a resolution of 1536 x 1024 pixels, but the biggest I show is 768 x 512 due to space limitations on the web server. The underwater pictures were taken with a disposable camera with varied results. Sometimes the subject was so far away or I was such a bad photographer that the subject doesn't get any bigger when you click on it and you just see more surrounding stuff.
