IMAX: Beaver 2001

I was looking forward to this movie about furry buck teethed engineers. The basic setup of the movie is good: following a pair of beavers as they scout out a new home and transform a mountain stream into a lake. There are some good shots, especially under the ice during the winter. But much of the footage seemed faked or contrived. I didn’t know that beavers made noises and I’m not entirely sure that the noises were real.
This movie was adequate and there are some cute scenes of the beavers, but there have been better IMAX features that involve the audience more. Might be good for youngsters.
I give it a C+.
