  4. The Flash, A-, genuinely funny and amazing DC superhero movie
  5. Ferrari, A-, good movie and performances, but weak lead
  6. Wonka, A-, good fun family movie, almost too light
  7. American Fiction, A-, clever setup doesn't fully pay off
  8. Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1, A-, overly long and busy part one, but exciting
  9. Polite Society, A-, not everything works, but a great, fun effort
  10. Dream Scenario, A-, great concept kind of unravels at the end
  11. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, A-, I enjoyed this family-centered superhero movie
  12. A Haunting in Venice, A-, a solid entry in this series, maybe my favorite
  13. Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, B+, surprisingly funny coming of age movie, very girly
  14. Wish, B+, formulaic, but it is a good formula

  18. The Holdovers, B+, well-made movie treads familiar ground
  19. Past Lives, B+, mildly interesting story about normal people
  20. Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, B, fun movie and characters, but nothing new
  21. Killers of the Flower Moon, B, great and tragic story told poorly
  22. The Boys in the Boat, B, paint by numbers sports story, but enjoyable
  23. The Creator, B, neat movie, but feels like fake James Cameron
